About Gardz® Problem Surface Sealer

Lock down porous and crumbling surfaces with Rust-Oleum® Zinsser® GARDZ® Problem Surface Sealer. This low-odour, water-based formula dries to a clear, matt finish, creating a hard, paintable seal over damaged drywall, adhesive residues and other chalky surfaces.

  • Easy to apply, high spread rate, fast drying
  • Protects new drywall
  • Repairs torn paper on damaged drywall, eliminates bubbles
  • Seals old wallpaper adhesive
  • Seals skim coats & spackling
  • Water-base, low odour, dries clear

For Best Results

Apply liberally using a brush, medium-nap roller or sprayer. Do not over-apply.
